The Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition (YGA) is a state-wide writing competition that celebrates the creative and academic efforts of students in grades K-12 in any genre of writing, including poetry, short stories, journalism, research, literary analysis, argument, and more.  This is a great opportunity to be recognized as one of  the best writers in our school.

When: Submissions are due by NOON on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.

2013 Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition Rules Booklet

The rules are provided just for your knowledge of the process.  GOC is collecting the entries – email yours to Carrie.MacAllaster@gwinnettonlinecampus.com. Ms. MacAllaster will submit all the entries to the county. GCPS will review the entries and select a winner from each grade level.  If you are chosen as a winner from your grade level, you will then complete the packet information and that will be submitted to the state.
